What We Do
The Firm is proud to have two strong attorneys in this space; Howard Krooks, the nationally recognized elder law attorney who heads the Elder Law Practice, and Jennifer Kinsley, who runs the Trusts & Estates department.
Through both attorneys, the Firm is uniquely situated to provide sophisticated legal services that meet the estate planning and estate administration needs of individuals and their families. Both attorneys are renowned for their ability to address each of their clients particular needs, unique financial situations and personal issues. The practice is extremely diverse, ranging from the preparation of straightforward wills, trusts and guardianship proceedings, to complex estate transactional services. The practice is also dedicated to elder law and trusts and estates matters, including representing seniors and persons with special needs and their families in connection with asset preservation planning, supplemental needs trusts, Medicaid, Medicare, planning for disability, guardianship, wills, trusts and health care planning with advance directives. In addition, the practice includes minimizing estate taxes, protecting assets of a beneficiary’s inheritance, structuring lifetime and testamentary charitable gifts, establishing family foundations and life insurance trusts and business succession planning.
