Joy Phanumas is a commercial and residential real estate transactional attorney. She is a graduate of Columbia University and Brooklyn Law School. Joy has spent the formative years in her legal career as an associate at a boutique real estate law firm in Manhattan and then as a partner at a mid-sized law firm where she has developed a broad range of knowledge, expertise, and experience in commercial and residential real estate transactions. She has represented a diverse range of sellers and purchasers in connection with the sales, purchases, and financing of commercial and residential properties, as well as borrowers and lenders in connection with acquisition financing and re-financing of commercial properties. In addition to her expertise in the acquisition and financing arenas, Joy has extensively negotiated leases on behalf of commercial landlords, developers, and nationally and regionally recognized retailers.
